Audit bank evidence for identity, ownership, period and completeness against the actual immigration request. A balance screenshot should not be treated as a complete statement unless the receiving instructions accept it.

What the official guidance establishes

UK visitor guidance identifies financial documents showing available funds and access, including bank statements that detail where funds came from. This is evidence guidance for a UK visit, not a universal bank-document format. Read UKVI: visitor supporting-document guidance for the original scope and current instructions.

Read the request before reviewing the file

Record which person, account type and period the route asks about. Copy any instruction concerning names, account access or statement format. Keep that requirement beside the file so the audit checks the actual request rather than a checklist taken from another country.

Inspect the full document

Check the account-holder name, bank identity, currency, statement period and page sequence. Note missing pages, cropped information or unclear text. When a bank must correct or explain a record, request the change through the bank rather than editing its statement.

Compare related records

Match transfers and any requested proof of earnings or support to the statement entries. Keep the source record, translation and final upload version connected. Mark an unresolved question explicitly; neat presentation cannot resolve an ownership or access question.

Your working sheet

This is an optional IMMIGEUROPE planning worksheet, not an official application form or a new document requirement.

RecordWhat to enter
IdentityName and account-holder details
CoverageRequested dates and complete page sequence
AmountsCurrency, relevant transactions and linked evidence
IssueMissing information and responsible issuer enquiry

Worked planning example

A fictional applicant downloads a statement whose second page is missing from the combined PDF. The audit finds the gap before upload, and the applicant obtains the complete file from the bank. They do not recreate the missing page manually.

Retain the complete original download and any bank response alongside the final submission file. Keep the next action in the moving planner and use the guide library for the next part of your move.
