Build a Brazil remote-work evidence file around the named digital nomad route, your real overseas employment or service arrangement, and the official application channel for your location.

What the official guidance establishes

Brazil’s Ministry of Justice publishes a specific digital nomad residence framework under CNIg Resolution 45/2021 for the remote-work category described on its official page. Read Brazil Ministry of Justice: digital nomad residence for the original scope and current instructions.

Describe the work before choosing evidence

Write who engages you, where that organisation is based, what services you perform and where you intend to be physically located. Keep a signed contract, an employer letter and invoices labelled by what each actually proves. Avoid relabelling a local job as remote work to fit a route.

Separate the application channels

Create a column for the Brazilian consulate if researching a visa abroad and another for the Ministry’s in-country residence process if that is your situation. Follow the channel’s own document instructions. Record questions about the employer relationship, income evidence and the accepted form of each document before commissioning translations.

Make a professional questions list

Use separate questions for immigration permission, employer approval and tax treatment. Give each to the appropriate authority or adviser. A useful employer enquiry explains the proposed work location and dates, rather than asking for a general letter saying that you can work anywhere.

Your working sheet

This is an optional IMMIGEUROPE planning worksheet, not an official application form or a new document requirement.

Worked planning example

A fictional contractor works for several overseas clients. Their file lists the genuine contracts individually instead of creating an employer letter for an employer they do not have. They ask the responsible channel how its evidence instructions apply before paying for additional documents.

Recheck the current official route before making commitments; this worksheet does not decide whether an arrangement qualifies. Keep the next action in the moving planner and use the guide library for the next part of your move.
