Turn a scholarship letter into a coverage and payment schedule. Identify who pays each cost, when money becomes available and which household expenses remain your responsibility.

What the official guidance establishes

UK Student financial guidance distinguishes course fees from personal support and says evidence is needed from a student-loan or financial-sponsorship organisation where that funding is used. Read GOV.UK: Student visa financial evidence for the original scope and current instructions.

Read the actual award, not its headline

Record the provider, award period, amount, currency and stated purpose. Mark tuition paid directly to the institution separately from money paid to you. A benefit mentioned in a promotional page should remain unconfirmed until it appears in the applicable award terms.

Map coverage to expenses

Create rows for course fees, living costs, travel, insurance and family costs relevant to your plan. Beside each, record the award’s actual wording and any gap. Use “not stated” rather than assuming the word “full” covers an item the letter does not describe.

Plan around payment conditions

Record acceptance, enrolment, reporting or other conditions stated by the funder. Put the payment schedule beside deposit and arrival dates. Ask the provider about a late start, deferral or changed family circumstances in writing where those affect the plan.

Your working sheet

This is an optional IMMIGEUROPE planning worksheet, not an official application form or a new document requirement.

Worked planning example

A fictional award pays tuition directly but releases a living allowance after enrolment. The student’s worksheet still shows an arrival cash need before that allowance arrives. They ask about the actual release process instead of counting the whole award as an available bank balance.

Keep the award terms and the immigration route’s evidence instructions as separate source documents. Keep the next action in the moving planner and use the guide library for the next part of your move.
