Check the principal pass and each family member's actual relationship before building the dependant file. Permission to join a family member and permission to work are separate research tasks.

Confirm the principal pass and official dependant instructions

MOM describes the Dependant's Pass for eligible spouses and children of Employment Pass or S Pass holders. Its service includes separate eligibility, documents and application guidance. It also directs holders who wish to work to information about available work-pass options. Read Singapore MOM: Dependant's Pass.

Your working sheet

The following is an editorial organisation tool, not an official application checklist. Copy the rows that help and fill them with your own verified records.

CheckWhat to record
Principal passRecord the pass holder and the relevant MOM family eligibility page
Family recordList identity relationship and civil documents for each intended applicant
ActivityResearch work study and other planned activities under the family member's own situation

A practical example

A household might include a spouse hoping to work and a child needing school arrangements. The shared move plan can coordinate dates, but the spouse's work question should not be ticked complete because the dependant application has been prepared.

Before the next step

Follow the current MOM family eligibility and document instructions. Confirm who submits and tracks the application through the employer or authorised channel. Keep a separate row for any additional work permission and avoid assuming it follows automatically from the principal holder's employment.
