Identify who initiated each residence application

The UAE Government explains that an employer- or family-sponsored residence visa should be cancelled officially when the resident leaves permanently. Its guidance describes the sponsor's cancellation role and the employment-contract step for employer-sponsored cases. The correct current service and the individual's record govern the practical process. Read UAE Government: General provisions for the residence visa.

Your working sheet

The following is an editorial organisation tool, not an official application checklist. Copy the rows that help and fill them with your own verified records.

CheckWhat to record
SponsorIdentify who controls the actual residence record and cancellation request
EmploymentRecord final salary contract and other closing questions through the appropriate employer process
Family and travelList dependants identity records housing and the intended departure plan

A practical example

For example, a worker may receive a final employment settlement while the residence-cancellation task is still open. Their departure sheet should show both outcomes rather than marking residence cancelled because employment ended. A dependant's position also needs its own check.

Before the next step

Use the current official cancellation service and the actual confirmation or stay instructions issued for the case. Avoid inventing a grace period from another person's experience. Save the cancellation evidence and resolve any planned continued stay through an appropriate official route.
