Compare an Ausbildung offer as a training arrangement with its own education, employment and residence questions. A training salary and a tuition-bearing school place should not be put into an identical budget row.
Understand company-based and school-based training
The official German guidance distinguishes school-based and in-company vocational training. It describes a specific training place, language evidence and ability to cover living costs in the training-visa requirements. The funding explanation differs according to the type of training. Read Make it in Germany: Visa for vocational training.
Your working sheet
The following is an editorial organisation tool, not an official application checklist. Copy the rows that help and fill them with your own verified records.
| Check | What to record |
|---|---|
| Training structure | Name the provider occupation school or employer and the award |
| Written costs | Separate salary tuition materials housing and any proposed deductions |
| Evidence owner | Ask who provides the training-place record and which language or funding questions remain |
A practical example
Suppose one offer is company-based and another is a school-based course. An original comparison worksheet can show what is paid to the trainee, what the trainee must pay, and when each amount is due. It should leave immigration funding requirements to the current official instructions, rather than subtracting an assumed salary from a borrowed threshold.
Before the next step
Confirm the exact training place and route before commissioning visa documents. Ask the institution about unresolved conditions in writing, then add the visa and arrival dependencies to the planner. Keep a search-for-training-place route distinct from a route based on an offer already obtained.
