Prioritise your first week abroad by the tasks that unlock other necessary services and the deadlines attached to your actual permission. Build a short dependency plan instead of copying a universal arrival list.

What the official guidance establishes

UK Student guidance includes access to an eVisa through a UKVI account. Japan’s long-stay guidance instead describes municipal resident registration. These examples show different arrival systems, not a shared worldwide checklist. Read GOV.UK: Student visa for the original scope and current instructions.

Read the instructions issued to you

List the actual arrival actions attached to your permission, institution or employer and copy any stated deadlines. Record the source beside each action. Do not let a seven-day planning view replace a different official due date.

Map dependencies before booking

For each identity, address, healthcare, school or employer task that actually applies, ask what evidence or earlier action it needs. Put appointments requiring an existing record after the task producing that record. Keep a question about acceptable temporary address evidence open until answered.

Leave time for practical needs

Build food, communication, transport and rest into your own schedule. Keep one daily review for completed tasks and unresolved instructions. Retain receipts or completion records so the next organisation can be given the evidence it actually requests.

Your working sheet

This is an optional IMMIGEUROPE planning worksheet, not an official application form or a new document requirement.

Worked planning example

A fictional newcomer finds that a planned appointment asks for an address record they have not yet obtained. The dependency sheet moves the address enquiry first. It does not assume every country issues the same identifier or allows the same temporary-address document.

Use the week as an organising view and keep official instructions in control of the sequence. Keep the next action in the moving planner and use the guide library for the next part of your move.
