Turn a real request for information into an item-by-item response pack. Match each document to the correct person and evidence purpose before uploading, and keep your own final copy of the material.

Read the complete request and identify each item

Home Affairs says the application tells applicants which documents to attach and when. Its attachment guidance identifies the applicant and evidence purpose, then the document type and upload. It advises applicants to keep their own copies because uploaded supporting documents cannot later be accessed from ImmiAccount. Read Australian Home Affairs: Attach documents to your application.

Your working sheet

The following is an editorial organisation tool, not an official application checklist. Copy the rows that help and fill them with your own verified records.

CheckWhat to record
Request itemCopy the requested evidence and actual response date
FileRecord the person document type filename and complete pages
ReceiptCheck the displayed received status and retain your submission record

A practical example

For example, a household file contains two people's bank evidence. A response manifest should identify whose document answers each request. Uploading a file successfully is not enough to show it was assigned to the right applicant or answers the requested item.

Before the next step

Follow the current attachment instructions and any case-specific request. If a document cannot be supplied or a technical limit is reached, use the relevant official instructions for that situation. Do not send private records to an unrelated email address copied from a forum.
