Build an upload manifest from the checklist inside the actual immigration account. Match each field to a complete file and distinguish preparing, uploading and transmitting the application.
What the official guidance establishes
IRCC’s Express Entry system generates a personalised checklist from the online answers. Its separate guidance for requested documents describes upload and submission actions in the relevant account. Read IRCC: Express Entry application and uploads for the original scope and current instructions.
Create the manifest from the real fields
Copy each checklist label into a row and add the person it concerns. Identify whether the field asks for a form, a combined document or another item. Keep a request for the principal applicant separate from a similarly named request for a family member.
Control file versions
Assign a final filename, page count, document date and preparation status. Keep source records outside the final-upload folder. When a replacement is made, move the old preparation version out of the selection folder so it cannot easily be chosen by mistake.
Record submission evidence
After following the account’s instructions, retain the confirmation associated with the actual transmission. Mark a file as uploaded or submitted only when the corresponding action occurred. For a later document request, create a new dated row rather than overwriting the history of the initial application.
Your working sheet
This is an optional IMMIGEUROPE planning worksheet, not an official application form or a new document requirement.
| Record | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Field/person | Exact checklist label and applicant |
| File | Final filename, page count and version |
| Stage | Prepared, uploaded or transmitted |
| Evidence | Confirmation and any later request |
Worked planning example
A fictional couple has separate identity fields. Their manifest pairs each passport file with the correct person before selection. A saved draft is labelled draft until the account’s final submission step and confirmation are complete.
Use the portal’s current limits and instructions rather than a file convention borrowed from another service. Keep the next action in the moving planner and use the guide library for the next part of your move.
