Read the actual IPA as a set of remaining tasks, rather than marking the entire pass process finished. Keep the employer and candidate responsibilities clear from the approval letter through issuance and any registration instructions.
Read what the IPA actually authorises
MOM's EP process distinguishes approval, an in-principle approval letter, arrival and pass issuance. The IPA contains instructions relevant to entry and any required medical examination. The published process includes a later notification letter after issuance. Read Singapore MOM: Apply for an Employment Pass.
Your working sheet
The following is an editorial organisation tool, not an official application checklist. Copy the rows that help and fill them with your own verified records.
| Check | What to record |
|---|---|
| Letter | Check identity validity and conditions in the candidate's actual IPA |
| Arrival | Prepare travel and any medical tasks stated by MOM or the letter |
| Issuance | Ask the employer who completes the issue request and passes on the notification |
A practical example
For example, a candidate receives an IPA while still abroad. A practical tracker keeps arrival and the employer's issuance task open rather than treating the email as a pass card already collected. If medical evidence is requested, that should be assigned to the named person and provider instructions.
Before the next step
Use the current MOM application process and the individual's letter. Keep the notification and any later card instructions with the passport records. If the journey or start date changes, ask through the official employer process how it affects the remaining tasks.
